Server Error When Creating a Shipment in Dispatch
This solution article may be applicable to users who encounter a "Server Error" when trying to create a shipment in Dispatch.
Cause: The bug is related to the fact that the user has not set a "Default Address" on the user account. The dispatch code relies on a default address for the Billing address in order to generate the shipping invoice.
Solution: Set a Default Address for your account by following the steps below:
1. When you are logged into the App, click on your avatar located at the top right corner of the App, then go to "Account".
2. Scroll down to the section called "My Addresses". Click on "Add New Address" and enter your preferred address, check the checkbox for "Make this my default address" before saving the address. If you already have a preferred address set up in "My Addresses" previously, make sure the checkbox for "Make this my default address" is checked and saved.
