Code 0009: Line thickness less than 0.25pts
⚠️ Warnings
- Line thickness less than 0.25 points.
What is the problem?
The lines in your document are too thin and may not print reliably—they could appear faint, patchy, or not print at all.
This guidance applies to vector lines created in design software such as Adobe Illustrator or InDesign. It does not apply to raster images imported from programs like Photoshop.
That said, it’s helpful to remember: the smaller and more detailed the lines are—whether vector or raster—the harder they are to print clearly. For best results, ensure all lines meet the minimum recommended thickness.
How do I fix it?
Check and adjust line width using the Stroke panel
Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
Go to Window > Stroke to open the Stroke panel.
Select a line to view its stroke width in the panel.
Use the numeric input or slider to adjust the line’s thickness.
Affinity Publisher and Designer
Go to View > Studio > Stroke to open the Stroke panel.
Select a line to view its width.
Use the numeric input or slider to increase the line width as needed.
